Hey, it's Andy Bolton here. In this video you will see my Squat and Deadlift Training from Wednesday 24th August 2011 at Rall's Gym, Leeds, England.
The workout started with Squats against 80kg of Chain (40kg per side). I warmed up and then worked up to 275kg for 4 sets of 2 reps. (This was about 355kg at lockout).
I wore half Canvas suit and old knee wraps. Come competition time I will be wearing the suit with the straps up, briefs underneath and new knee wraps put on tightly.
After Squats I did speed Deadlift against 20kg of chain. Here I warmed up and then worked up to 300kg (661lbs) for 3 sets of 2 reps. All sets were fast and explosive.
The workout finished with assistance exercises for my Lats and Upper Back. I did 3 to 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps of Hammer Strength Rows, V-Bar PullDowns and Straight Arm Pull Downs.
I am now 7 weeks out from the Bullfarm Powerlifting meet in Finland on October 8th 2011.
